Review: Clinique’s Super Rescue Antioxidant Night Moisturizer

Posted on: February 25, 2010

This little green tube is my new favorite. If you are seeking for a good moisturizer with antioxidants, this may very well be the one. I am on my second tube now, and I will definitely repurchase it when I run out again.

Clinique Super Rescue Antioxidant Night Moisturizer for Combination Skin 1.7 oz/50ml

Ever since I turned 25, I have become very conscious about the changes in my body: I need to have at least 7 hours of sleep to function well in the next day; and 8 hours of sleep to maintain good skin condition; I drink more green tea now to release toxins from my body… As for my face and neck, of course I will need a good night cream that has antioxidants in it to fight the damage caused by the environment and aging. One thing we need to know about antioxidants: They are the unit that effectively reduces inflammations, which helps our skin to repair itself because the less inflammation skin endures, the better it is able to strengthen itself to repair damage.

I have to say this night moisturizer from Clinique is making me very happy. The green tube has everything we need for a good moisturizer: water, silicone, thickeners, shea butter, glycerin, antioxidants, cell-communicating units, and skin-identical ingredients. For all this night moisturizer has, it certainly delivers what it promises. I only use it at night before I go to sleep and wake up finding out my skin’s problems such as redness and occasional breakouts are visibly reduced (gone on the third day). It is also very hydrating, and it sinks into my skin very well. So I can go to sleep without worrying about my face being so greasy.

This moisturizer comes in three versions according to different skin types: Dry combination, Combination Oily to Oily, and Very Dry to Dry. It is slightly pricy: $42.5 for 1.7 oz. But hey, the last one lasted me 4 months so really, I am investing a little more than 10 bucks each month, and I am sure I will be happy with the money I put in today many years after.

[…] night cream, I use Clinique Super Rescue Antioxidant Night Moisturizer (see review here).  Loving it, on my second tube […]

as a new user of Made from Earth skin products, I will say so far I like their Olive Night Creme. In the winter I need a moisture, but I use organic oils as well…

This night cream is nice and thick, but not greasy with a light natural aroma. It has even helped to reduce the appearance of wrinkles on my forehead.

Hello Ardath Goodnow here. Everyone loves what you guys tend to be up to at https://thebeautyjournal.wordpress.com/2010/02/25/review-cliniques-super-rescue-antioxidant-night-moisturizer. This sort of clever work and coverage! If only I can do something similar. Maintain the excellent job folks. I’ve incorporated you to my site.

I agree, this product is amazing, definitely works wonders for my skin. I purchase mine from Fresh. Here’s the link: http://www.fragrancesandcosmetics.com.au/skincare/Clinique_Super_Rescue_Antioxidant_Night_Moisturizer__Dry_Combination_Skin__86268.html
